Persevering in the Will of God

 Isaiah 15-18; Hebrews 10

“You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised…‘Here I am, I have come to do your will.’…”

Hebrews 10:36, 9

The will of God in our lives requires perseverance. The promises of God are real and available to those who will combine them with faith and obedience. The will of God is that we will possess his promises and receive the fullness of our inheritance in Christ’s kingdom. Jesus came to do the will of his Father. For those of us who have experienced salvation and new life in Christ, we too must persevere in our salvation and the fruit of that salvation, which is living for the will of our heavenly Father.

Are we persevering in the daily obedience of living for the will of God?

Are we clear about why we are alive and what our purpose in life really is?

“Lord Jesus, you are my life and my example of living each day for the will of our Father. I too desire to receive what you have promised.”
