Salvation Song
Revelations 5-9
“…‘You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased men for God from every tribe and language and people and nation. You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth…Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and praise!’ Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them singing: ‘To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb be praise and honor and glory and power, forever and ever!’”
Revelation 5:9, 10, 12, 13
Worship begins in heaven and then extends to every tribe, language, people, and nation on earth, as Christ’s salvation plan and victory are revealed. Through self-denial, sacrifice, and death, Jesus rose victorious over the world, the flesh, and the devil. His salvation song has set us free. One day all of creation will worship the Lamb of God who is the Lion of the tribe of Judah, while we still live in the age of grace and mercy.
Are there neighbors, friends, family, and the least reached with whom we can share this song?
“Lord Jesus, you are worthy of praise, honor, glory, power, and eternal worship. May your salvation song be sung around the world.”
