Flee Babylon

Revelation 15-18 

 “This title was written on her forehead:                                                                                                                      

‘MYSTERY                                                                                                                                                                 

BABYLON THE GREAT                                                                                                                                                      

THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES                                                                                                                               

AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.’                                                                                                        

 \ I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of the saints, the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus…‘…Come out of her, my people, so that you will not share in her sins,…In her was found the blood of prophets and of the saints, and of all who have been killed on the earth.’”

The spirit of Babylon both seduces and destroys. This spiritual power entices people through lust for things and lust for others to give it authority in their lives. The followers of Jesus are not immune to this seduction. The Spirit of God calls us out of the hold of Babylon.

Where does the spirit of Babylon have influence in our lives?

The darker indictment against the spirit of Babylon is her responsibility for the martyrdom of the followers of Jesus and the lust for blood.

Where there is lust there is often violence against people. Viewing pornography is supporting the exploitation and trafficking of people. It’s time for God’s people to flee Babylon in all its forms.
