The Way of Truth

Amos 4-6; Psalms 86; Titus 1

“Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth, give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.”

Psalm 86:11

“Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Christ Jesus for the faith of God’s elect and the knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness – a faith and knowledge resting on the hope of eternal life…”

Titus 1:1, 2

Both David and Paul knew the Lord God personally and with undivided hearts. Their writings were inspired by the Spirit of God to help us also walk in the knowledge of God’s truth. In a world of relativism where truth is subjective, God invites us to live by his truth so that we are transformed. Our knowledge of God’s truth leads to godliness as we submit our will to the Lord and obey the truth. In a world of many paths, we choose to walk in the way of God’s truth.

In what area of our lives today do we need to know and follow God’s truth with renewed humility and diligence?

Truth and knowledge are not just religious information, they are our road map to eternal life!

“Lord Jesus, you are the way, the truth, and the life, for your glory.”
